Slightly Stoopid Red Rocks (Electric Set)

Fantastic night at Red Rocks with Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Common Kings, and Don Carlos

Last night at Red Rocks was pure joy. It's only night one of the two night gig, and it definitely did not disappoint. Don Carlos was such a treat to see, a legend if you will. Seeing Don Carlos was on my bucket list and there is no better place to see him than Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. Common Kings is so much fun to watch, such great stage presence, and the enthusiasm that they have really resinates with the crowd. Pepper, now if you have never seen them play, you need to stop everything you're doing, just put everything down.

Umphrey's McGee - 8/7/2021 Beech Mountain, NC

The Saturday Umphrey’s McGee show at the Majestic Venue on top of Beech Mountain opened with the appropriate “Party’n Peeps” to the raucous crowd!

It was the ninth stop of the Summer Umphrey's McGee tour, and the venue couldn't have been better. At just under 5,000 ft above sea level, it was truly an amazing sight.  In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Beach Mountain sits majestic and awe inspiring.  The popular winter destination has now turned itself into an acclaimed summer musical venues in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. While Beech Mountain is high enough to almost never be hot, Umphrey's McGee turned the heat to a solar level on the second night of the two-show, weekend run.

String Cheese Incident - Red Rocks 7/16/21

So incredibly happy to see that live music is going again in full swing and there is no place I'd rather be than Red Rocks to see the String Cheese Incident. The first night of SCI did not disappoint. One of the greatest things to see is everyone coming together in perfect harmony: dancing, as well as smiles from ear to ear. It's good to be back! Enjoy these photos of this beautiful night.

Here is the set list for night number 1

The Infamous Stringdusters, The Travelin' McCourys & more - 4/23 & 4/24/21 Union Grove, NC

The Infamous Stringdusters host a 2-night throwdown in the Carolina countryside with the Travelin' McCourys & more

"It's been way too long, way too long," said Ronnie McCoury, beaming at the audience and marvelling at playing live music again. We've all been longing to hear these words, really any words in the past tense, to feel like the last year may finally be getting behind us. While things remain far from normal, a feeling of hope is emerging with the cicadas. Call it stumbling towards normalcy. At least there was plenty of dancing room.

Funk You - 4/16/2021 Savannah, GA

On April 16th, the band hailing from Augusta, Georgia returned to the tour scene after what feels like a lifetime without live music!

Kicking off their 10th Anniversary Tour in the hauntingly beautiful Savannah, Georgia, Funk You left everyone in the crowd singing, "Funk Yessssss!"

Never disappointing, Funk You sold out Savannah's Victory North for the second time. Celebrating their 10 year anniversary together, this collection of musicians only continues to crush it!

Umphrey's McGee, Lettuce, Goose, BIG Something & many more!

Suwannee Live has announced the return of Suwannee Rising music festival, scheduled to take place April 8 - 10, 2021 at the expansive Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, FL. The event will feature music by Umphrey's McGee (2 sets), Lettuce (2 sets), Goose (2 sets), Eric Krasno's Chapter 2, Andy Frasco and the U.N., Big Something (2 sets) and more.

Suwannee Live produced two drive-in podded events earlier this year - Larry Keel/Grass Is Dead and the Funky Mardi Gras Masquerade - serving as successful test runs for the return of Suwannee Rising, which is set to be one of the first multi-day music festivals in the US since the pandemic.

"When we cancelled Suwannee Rising 2020, we never imagined the challenges it would present to society and especially the live music industry," said Suwannee Live's Paul Levine. "We viewed the situation with a glass half-full attitude, realistic but hopeful. No one wanted to accept a world without the live music experience." Levine continues, "After producing two intimate post-Covid shows at the park and attending other drive-in events, we learned that while no one can eliminate 100% of risk from their lives, it is possible to produce a great show that fans, staff, and artists can attend and still dance and feel safe. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our musical community over the last year through the twists and turns of the Covid-19 pandemic."

Although the 800-acre park is home to multiple permanent stages including its famous amphitheater, Suwannee Rising will feature two stages side by side that are located in one of their vast fields, allowing plenty of space for socially distanced P.O.D.S. (Personal Outdoor Dance Space). When one stage ends, the other will start. Large video screens allow every guest to easily view the performances from any of the spacious P.O.D.S.

P.O.D.S. offer a safely spaced area for family and friends to enjoy the live music. Each one includes four weekend tickets and primitive camping. P.O.D.S. owners can add up to two extra tickets for a maximum of six people per P.O.D.S. Guests are also allowed to bring their own food and drinks to the show.

Masks are required when festival goers aren't in their P.O.D.S. and additional safety measures will be in place giving fans peace of mind to relax, let go, and soak in the healing power of live music. To learn more about these initiatives and the safety squad please visit the FAQ page.

Suwannee Rising 2020/21 ticket holders will have first access to the P.O.D.S. starting today. P.O.D.S. will go on-sale to the general public at 10am EST on Wednesday, March 3rd. For further information email info@suwanneerising.com. To speak to someone, please call the park office Monday-Friday, between 9am-5pm at 386.364.1683.
