The Brew - The Key CD

$13.00
Formed in the spring of 2002, The Brew has always focused on the art of the song. "From the very beginning we vowed to never write a filler tune for an album. Every song had to be an entity of its own, with a message and a purpose." says David Drouin, one of the four young (early 20s) musicians that make up this talented and explosive group. Among more than 500 shows under their belt to date, the band lists one of the most memorable as a recent gig where they got to share the stage with one of their musical heroes, three-time Grammy winner Bruce Hornsby. After receiving positive feedback from Bruce, The Brew was invited to open his show at The 2006 Lowell Summer Music Series. Winning a standing ovation at the conclusion of their performance, this show confirmed that The Brews dynamic mix of rock, reggae, funk, jazz, classical and countless other genres appeals to all ages. At a Brew show you will see people from ages 5 to 95, all appreciating the unique and original sounds emanating from one of New Englands fastest rising bands. With a sound that blends powerful melodies, three part harmonies, intricate piano and guitar interplay, and a rhythm section that is bound to keep you dancing, its no wonder people regard the band as an intense experience live and on record. Having sold thousands of records to legions of committed fans, The Brew is proof that the art of the song is still the key to the heart of human kind.

The Brew features Dave Drouin (guitar / vocals), Chris Plante (keys / vocals), Joe Plante (bass / vocals), & Kelly Kane (drums).
