Who's In Charge? CD now available for pre-orders!

Known for their "ass shaking good time" live performances (Relix), Asheville, North Carolina's The Get Right Band announces the release of their brand new album, Who's in Charge?, out August 5. The Get Right Band combine clever and catchy lyrics with fearless improvisation, seamlessly blending elements of rock n' roll, funk, reggae and psychedelia. The Alternate Root has praised the trio for "hip-shaking, earthquaking, pure funk fun," and music fans can catch them on the road beginning in June 2016 right through this fall.

The Get Right Band is built on the musical brotherhood between Silas Durocher, a classically trained composer, and bassist, Jesse Gentry. With the addition of Jian-Claude Mears, a powerhouse drummer, GRB rounded out their sound. Who's in Charge? is produced by frontman Durocher (vocals, guitar), Julian Dreyer and The Get Right Band. Recorded in their hometown of Asheville at Echo Mountain Studio (The Smashing Pumpkins, T-Bone Burnett), the LP was engineered and mixed by Dreyer who has worked with The Avett Brothers and Zac Brown Band. It was mastered by six-time Grammy winner Brian Lucey known for his work with The Black Keys and Beck.

The Get Right Band is known for helping to "make Asheville's music scene so vibrant and exciting" (Martin Anderson, WNCW). The trio has performed on the renowned World Cafe, a nationally syndicated NPR show, and was named "Best New Band" of 2015 by Home Grown Music Network and "On The Verge" by Relix.

The Get Right band has played around the United States and the Caribbean with an energetic and unparalleled live show, and have played festivals and venues including Nashville's Music City Roots TV Show, Asheville's The Orange Peel, Savannah's Live Wire, FloydFest and more. They've also had the honor of sharing the stage with well-known acts including Galactic, Rusted Root, Victor Wooten Band, Martin Barre (of Jethro Tull), Turkuaz, Mike Dillon Band, Jeff Sipe Trio, Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, Jeff Coffin's Mutet, Larry Keel, and Bobby Lee Rodgers.

Gregg Allman, Warren Haynes, Bruce Hornsby, Nathaniel Rateliff, Leftover Salmon, Railroad Earth headline nine-stage, five-day camping festival

More than 100 artists will steward a dreamscape across nine stages and five days for the 2016 edition of the award-winning FloydFest, dubbed "Dreamweavin'" and taking place July 27 to 31, 2016, at Milepost 170.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Floyd, Va.

Remaining tickets are available now at www.floydfest.com or by calling (888) 695-0888 for five days of music, magic and mountains, featuring outdoor adventure, vibrant and varied vendors, quality craft brews and chews, healing arts, children's activities and a lineup featuring Gregg Allman, Warren Haynes' Ashes & Dust, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Leftover Salmon, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Keller Williams, Femi Kuti & Positive Force, Shakey Graves, Railroad Earth, The Wood Brothers, Elephant Revival, Anders Osborne, Rich Robinson and many more.

Recently receiving top accolades from TIME Magazine and Fox News, the Southeast's premier summer outdoor music festival's lineup doesn't stop there -- 2016's marquee of music and magic also features Greensky Bluegrass, Pimps of Joytime, Bombino, Monophonics, Otis Taylor Band, The Larry Keel Experience, Love Canon, Con Brio, The Legendary Shack Shakers, Head for the Hills, Liz Vice, Los Colognes, Selasee & The Fafa Family, Dave Eggar Trio, Monster Atlantic, Roosterfoot, Blue Mule, Look Homeward, The Midatlantic, Bloodkin, The Steepwater Band, Dead 27s, Mingo Fishtrap, Honey Island Swamp Band, Polyrhythmics, The Congress, The Defibulators, Banditos, Caravan of Thieves, Dead Winter Carpenters, Dustbowl Revival, Keller & The Keels, T Sisters, The Screaming Js, Marley Carroll, Higher Learning, Tigerman WOAH!, These Wild Plains, Little Tybee, The Show Ponies, The Wild Reeds, The Mallett Brothers Band, Cask Mouse, Cactus Attack, The Hanumen, Party Liberation Front, Blind Owl Band, Cabin Creek, Dalton Dash, The Devyl Nellys, Forlorn Strangers, Grand Ole' Ditch, Mason Via, Moonshine District, Of Company, Rob Nance & The Lost Souls, The Wildmans, Zoe Ravenwood, The Shack Band, Rebekah Todd & The Odyssey, Skribe, The Hip Abduction, Urban Soil, Octopus, doby, Dale & the ZDubs, FeelFree, Spiral, and Community High Band.

"This year's lineup represents what we at AtWP love most: non-hype roots music that delivers soul-wrenching, heart-drenching performances every time," Kris Hodges, producer and CEO, said. "When you strip away the hype, what's left is the core or soul of anything. Strip our artists and us down and we'll show you what we mean ... and have fun, to boot! No roots. No tree. It's simple."

Voted 'Best Outdoor Music Festival,' FloydFest also offers myriad ticket options for its Outdoor Adventure programs, including its popular On-the-Water Guided Float Trips (kayaking, tubing, canoeing), 5K Trail Race and Belcher Mountain Beatdown mountain-bike excursion. Emanating from FloydFest's Outdoor Adventure Headquarters, both ticketed and free outdoor adventure excursions launch daily, including guided hikes on the Moonstomper Hiking Trail, disc golf on the venue's Innova Disc Golf Course, and mountain-bike trips. Visit www.floydfest.com/activities/outdoor-adventure/ for more information and a packing list.

The indelible dream continues with myriad workshops and panels, peppered over the five days of the festival. From to mixed media to meditation, from capeoria to cape making, from stilt walking to storytelling, from drumming to dance, and from coffee talks to campfire jams to wilderness medicine, patrons will listen and learn in between the music and magic.

"Crafting a holistic outdoor event can't be something you posture; it has to be about pulling together all the elements that combine to create your own ideal outdoor music festival -- and for all of us it's all these things: music, camping, fun outdoor games and adventure, workshops, children, art, ambiance, great craft beer, etc.; it's a 'friends-around-the-campfire' sort of thing," Erika Johnson, co-founder and CFO, said.

Children and teens also have a home at FloydFest. Complimentary childcare is offered via FloydFest's Children's Universe, as well as plethora activities, such as juggling, face painting, puppets, stilts, hooping, yoga, open mic sessions, a playground, and more. Teens will enjoy the onsite climbing wall, art workshops, drumming lessons, meditation, and 'chill zones,' as well as daily planned activities in the Teen Scene at the Imagine Tent.

Healing Arts are also core to FloydFest, including meditation, tarot readings, dream interpretation, facials, Reiki, medicinal/edible plant walks, and more. Multiple massage therapists are in attendance, offering everything from deep tissue, prenatal, hot stones, and migraine therapy, and yoga is featured daily. There's even a dreamcatcher-making workshop, to boot.

"One of FloydFest's most unique characteristics is how the theme changes annually. It really lends to keeping it fresh and relevant," Johnson said. "Our theory is that if you're not shaking things up a bit, being exploratory, then you risk becoming complacent; this is true for individuals, for businesses, for artists, for events, for everything, really. Dreamweavin' is about that exploration; it's about giving credibility to the imagination, about cultivating a willingness to suspend our growing collective cynicism, and to honor our own inner dreamer and the collective potential to dream together."

FloydFest is proud of its solid support from a host of partners, including Dreaming Creek, Streamline, WROV, Sierra Club, ENO, Ferrum, Farm To Feet, Sunbelt, Black Feather, Parkway Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, Foothills Brewing, Breckenridge Brewery, Virginia Lottery, Virginia is for Music Lovers, Floyd Rustic, Blue Ridge Country, Osprey, Back Country Ski and Sport, Klean Kanteen, Woodchuck Hard Cider, Buchi, Sticks and Stones, Highland, Peluso Microphone Lab, Inline Vape, Headcount, Spindrift, Clean Energy Advisors, Slackline industries, and Innova.

Onsite and offsite camping tickets are still available, and, although certain ticket types are in short supply, single-day, 3-Day, 4-Day and 5-Day tickets and HOV-EZ Pass Bundles are also still for sale. In even-shorter supply are FloydFest's High-Roller All-Access VIP tickets, which feature fully catered meals, free beer and wine (and more), backstage access, private camping, free massage, onsite parking, and so much more. And, when purchasing tickets, don't forget to donate $1 to Appalachian Voices, FloydFest's partner and 2016 featured nonprofit; FloydFest will match every patron donation.

FloydFest is located at Milepost 170.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Floyd, Va. Detailed directions are available by clicking to www.floydfest.com.

ABOUT:
Dumpstaphunk stands out among New Orleans' best as one of the funkiest bands to ever arise from the Crescent City. Born on the Jazz & Heritage Festival stage, and descended from Neville family bloodlines, these soldiers of funk ignite a deep, gritty groove that dares listeners not to move. Their performances combine ingenious musicianship and complex funk and jazz arrangements with soulful melodies that are simple enough for anyone to enjoy. In Big Easy tradition, dueling baselines from Tony Hall and Nick Daniels III set off one of the dirtiest rhythm sections on the planet, while Ivan Neville lights up the Hammond B3 keys and cousin Ian Neville's funky guitar riffs send the groove into overdrive. The band recently welcomed their newest member, Alvin Ford Jr. to the quintet, a New Orleans born and raised powerhouse drummer. Dumpstaphunk tosses around lead vocals and four-part harmonies the way Sly & the Family Stone did, but with three studio albums under their belt, Dumpstaphunk stands on the merit of their own material. Songs like "Dancin' To The Truth" off their latest record, Dirty Word (Red Hot Records), offer an escape into the funky sublime, sharing the true spirit of New Orleans with every note.
