"Keys to the House" to be released June 30 on Harmonized Records

Hailing from Richmond, VA and formed by brothers Andrew and Johnny, The Trongone Band is set to release their debut LP, "Keys To The House" on June 30th via Harmonized Records. Drawing from Funk, Blues, Americana and Southern Rock, the quartet is rounded out by keyboardist Ben "Wolfe" White and award-winning bassist Todd Herrington.  The band plans to begin touring this month in support of the album.

Of the album, Johnny Trongone says. "It was one thing to develop and write the songs over the past year as we played them out on the road, but it was a completely different world to take them into the studio, put them under the microscope and really turn them into songs."

Primed for the festival circuit, the band has graced the stages of Virginia's Roosterwalk, Tennessee's Riverbend Music Festival, Florida's Slide Into Spring Festival, The Allman Brothers' Peach Festival in Pennsylvania, and West Virginia's Deep Mountain Roots Revival.

This family affair recording process helped the band grow "so much on a personal and musical level, and listening back and dissecting these tracks helped us learn so much about each other's playing."

Wanee 2017 Photos & Review

Wanee 2017 Photos & Review
The Wanee Music Festival was birthed in 2005 by The Allman Brothers Band founders Butch Trucks and Gregg Allman.

Held at the sprawling Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park and campground in Live Oak, FL. it has become a rich southern tradition. This was our second time attending, and we had not been since 2013, when the allure of my favorite bands beckoned us to Fl. Growing up in the South, I have always been enamored with Southern Rock and Jam Bands. My favorite two bands on the planet call this festival home. The Allman Brothers Band certainly are the Fathers of Southern Rock married to Jam Band, and Widespread Panic also revels in gritty Southern Jam to keep the heritage alive.

Point of Reference is now available.

Athens, GA based eclectic rock band The Orange Constant (TOC) has self-released their 2nd full length album titled Point of Reference. The album was recorded at Chase Park Transduction in Athens during October - December 2016 with Drew Vandenberg (discography includes of Montreal, Mothers, Kishi Bashi), and was mastered by Joe Lambert (catalog includes Animal Collective, Local Natives, The Black Crowes). Point of Reference is now available.

Containing songs written over a span of four years, Point of Reference displays a striking maturity in TOC's songwriting. Compared to their debut album Time to Go, this release embraces more risk taking in the studio fueled by Vandenberg's experimental leanings. Although TOC has been labeled a jam band over the years, this release demonstrates their evolution into a vintage rock sound.
