Larry Sieberth presents Estrella Banda - Live at JazzFest 2016 CD

Estrella Banda - This is Lawrence Sieberth's latest foray into the sounds of afrocuban music featuring his original compositions. As the name suggests the band consists of musical stars in their own right. The rhythm section includes Rick Sebastian on drums, Alexey Marti on percussion, Brian Quezergue on bass and special guest Ray Mouton on guitar. The exemplary horn section includes Eric Lusaro on trumpet, Rex Gregory on alto sax and Brad Walker on tenor sax. It is high energy music combining afrocuban styles with a touch of New Orleans funk.
