In its inaugural year, Phases of the Moon Music and Arts Festival had everything thrown at them but the kitchen sink. A huge front brought heavy rains and flooding to the central Illinois/Indiana site and the going was a little rough at first. But the people came and the musicians played and we all made merry in the wake of nasty weather. The Dead Images gallery was semi-adjacent to Zane Kesey and Furthur, as well as all your favorite festival vendors. Because of the rain, we got a late start and I didn’t get to see nearly as much music as I might have liked, but still loved what I was lucky to see. As tough as conditions were, all credit goes out to the promoters, as well as the production and media staffs, for their herculean efforts.
See y’all next year when the skies will be clear and sunny and the winds warm and balmy!
