RHYTHM FEST (four days
and nights of fun starting July 3rd - this means drums,
folks - and a lot of them! Back for a repeat performance is
former Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart! Mickey brings
his band featuring Steve Kimock, George Porter Jr, Kyle Hollingsworth
(of String Cheese fame), Jen Durkin, Walfredo Reyes
Jr, and Sikiru Adepoju playing Friday night, with incredible
Fireworks at set break! We are also very pleased to have
Airto Moreira and Flora Purim Band return (Airto and Flora
were in the original Rhythm Devils with Mickey, Jerry, Phil and Billy).
Again returning is the wonderful conguero, Giovanni Hildago
who will be performing as well as holding a drum clinic (bring your
drums kids!).
We are very pleased to have
for the first time, moe!!!!! moe leads the
start of the fest on Thursday, July 3rd, so plan on getting
here before they hit the stage. We can not wait to see these
guys light up the park! Another featured guest is George Clinton
and P-Funk! Who's got the FUNK - WE DO! Opening
on Saturday for George is Wookie Foot!
There are so many other great
bands performing that this weekend will be off the hook! We have
special guests Eyedentity
and guitarist Jose Neto!
