Peter Tosh - Live at My Father's Place 1978 CD
Peter Tosh was a founding member of The Wailers with Bunny Wailerand Bob Marley. The Wailers disbanded in 1974, and Peter signed to CBS Recordsand released his classic solo debut, Legalize It in 1976.
The Rolling Stones were smitten with Jamaica and Regaae, and signedPeter up to record for their label. His album Bush Doctor was soon releasedand shortly after, he went on tour as an opener for The Stones.
The music on this CD was culled from two performances at My Father's Placein Roslyn, NY on the 4th of July 1978, a rare night when he wasn'topening for The Stones.
