The Best Band in Massachusetts (New England Music Awards 2013), The Brew, will perform its last-ever show on August 24th in their hometown of Amesbury, MA.
"We've played huge stages, sold thousands of records, and collaborated with our heroes," says pianist and singer Chris Plante, reflecting on the band's twelve-year career. "As far as we're concerned, we did it."
It's been quite a run for the band that came together in high school: eight albums recorded, well over a thousand shows performed, half a million touring miles logged, and two Top-100 radio singles charted.
Guitarist and singer David Drouin explains, "We can't tell anyone what we're up to next, but what we can say is that we have achieved more than we thought possible, and we want to thank everyone who has been a part of that success. We have so much gratitude and appreciation for the fans that have become family over the years. Connecting to people through music has been a magical experience; something we will never forget."
The Brew's farewell performance will take place on August 24th at the Amesbury Sports Park. Tickets are $20 and can be found at: www.thebrew.biz
