Rivermist Sunset Concert Series

With Ralph Roddenbery and The Jones, Deep Blue Sun and Sol Driven Train.

This summer the Chattahoochee will boil over with live music at sunset as the second
season of "Rivermist Sunset Concert Series" tests the sound barrier along the riverbank.
" We' re trying something a little different this year," says Bob Fortin, Co-producer with Paul Rampulla of the concert series, which brings five shows to the Rivermist Lodge property at Habersham Winery this summer.

Grapevine Talent also will co-sponsor the concert series, along with Habersham Winery, Milton Food Service, North East Sales Distributors, and Nacoochee Events. Concertgoers can sip on local Habersham wine, or partake in a draft of craft beer while munching on goodies from the talented chefs from the Nacoochee Grill & the Nacoochee Village Tavern & Pizzeria, all the while sampling live music with a recognizable flavor. The bands should be familiar to regional music fans - some have performed at the Sautee Jamboree and other festivals or music venues regionally. All five of this summer' s Rivermist bands are rooted deeply in the Southeastern musical consciousness.

" We are trying to supply entertainment that enriches the soul with live music, from
world class musicians at a local and affordable level while being safe and fun for the
whole family" Rampulla says.

The music starts at 7 pm. Tickets are $10 in advance through the Nacoochee Village
& Pizzeria beginning April 8th, or $12 at the event. Packets of 10 are only $80 in advance. Children under 10 free.

Camping available at Sleepy Hollow Campground in Sautee Ga. Rivermist Lodge is located on Highway 75, across the street from the Hardman Farm next to Habersham Winery.

Sat. July 23rd American Anodyne
Former members of Big City Sunrise American Anodyne is soaked in moonshine and forged from gold, Melded in the furnace of Appalachia. These truly southern gentlemen are creating a brand of Americana reminiscent of '70's outlaw country while embracing the sentiments of modern times. American Anodyne's music tells tales of small town life and portrays the hardship of living in the 'new depression'. With songs depicting a lust for the open road, heartbreaks, and handguns their no-holds-bar style of portraying life in the south is honest and authentic. http://www.reverbnation.com/americananodyne

Sat, August 13th Sol Driven Train
Sol Driven Train is a band in motion. Perpetually piling on and off the bus, the momentum of their hard work and heart-felt music propels the group in front of growing crowds across the country. At shows, the band members bounce to the pulse of the music along with the crowd. Stylistically the band seamlessly mixes Allmanesque Southern rock, languid world-beat, swampy funk and downright catchy melodies as they swap lead singers and instruments. A punchy horn section adds an extra dimension of sweaty soul. www.soldriventrain.com
