The scenic Nelson Ledges Quarry Park presents Gratefulfest, a Fourth of July Weekend family celebration giving thanks for the great memories and music of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead, featuring headliners Melvin Seals and JGB, Wookiefoot, and Rusted Root.
Nelson Ledges Quarry Park is a privately-owned, 250-acre campground and concert facility located about 45 minutes east of Cleveland, Ohio. Between April and October, the Park hosts very reasonably-priced weekend concert festivals. Camping, swimming, hiking, basketball, and kids' playgrounds are only some of the enjoyable options available at the family-owned and -operated Nelson Ledges Quarry Park.
Proprietor Evan Kelley is proud to present another crucial lineup of Grateful Dead family and friends, as well as numerous exceptional national and regional acts and an amazing, world-class fireworks display over the water by Razorback Pyrotechnics, to celebrate Gratefulfest and the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Melvin Seals and JGB and Wookiefoot will both perform two full sets of music on Friday and Saturday nights. Rusted Root will headline Thursday.
Top national acts including Grateful Dead family members Donna Jean Godcheaux Band with Mark Karan of Ratdog, as well as GD keyboardist Tom Constanten and GD Radio host Mr David Gans, will be featured Friday and Saturday. Nelson Ledges favorites Jam Stampede, Waterband, Sultans of Bing, Cabinet, Aliver Hall, Must Stash Hat, Pigeons Playing Pingpong, John Wayne and the Pain, Terrapin Moon, Medicine for the People's Nahko, The Ragbirds, Big Leg Emma, Family Function, Cherylann Hawk, and Marnee will appear throughout the weekend. The Ohio Burn Unit, as well as death-defying, Guinness Record-holding self-immolator Ted Bachelor the Burning Man, will also be featured.

Friday through Sunday is $75 advance, $90 at the door. Saturday and Sunday admission is $50 advance, $65 at the door. No dogs or glass bottles.
