BIG Something - BIG Something CD - Breakout rockers The BIG Something have just released their highly-anticipated new self-titled studio album to follow up their award winning 2010 debut 'Stories from the Middle of Nowhere' - which was named Home Grown Music Network's 2010 Studio Album of the Year. With several years of relentless touring experience now under their belt, the band has crafted a powerful sound that is refreshingly original and yet classic in its approach. In a digital age of popular music dominated by programmed computers, BIG Something is a breath of fresh air: a straight up rock band that calls upon a diverse range of sounds created and performed live by 6 musicians on real instruments. This signature sound can be hard to fully describe, but the song craft is instantly recognizable with arena sized rock grooves, dirty funk and dance rhythms layered with lush electronic embellishments and soulfully triumphant vocals. This new self-titled album showcases the band at their best and on the verge of something BIG!

Little Feat - American Cutie - Ebbets Field, Denver, CO, 7/19/1973 CD - Previously unreleased 1973 broadcast of Little Feat performing songs from their acclaimed album Dixie Chicken and more. On the evening of Thursday 19th July 1973, Little Feat played two shows in the intimate surrounds of Ebbets Field in Colorado, with the team from KCUV FM on hand to broadcast both. The two sets performed featured similar track-lists, and while this CD features the late show in its entirety, as a bonus the three tracks from the earlier performances that weren't played again, are also included here.
Dr. John - The Lost Broadcast CD -A wonderful slice of New Orleans funk history that would certainly qualify as rare grooves. This 1973 recording of Dr John's glorious live set in Hempstead, NY 1973 is one of the only documents of the actual everyday working band of this period and this FM Broadcast catches them on a really, really good day. This is simply the best damn Dr John album you never heard (previously!).
