Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes - Praying In Pittsburgh (2CD)

In October 1999, Jimmy Page joined the successful Southern-Rock collective, Black Crowes, for two pairs of shows in New York and Los Angeles, and one at Worcester's Centrum Centre, which yielded the live release, Live At The Greek on TVT Records. Due to contractual issues with Columbia, the record did not feature any of the Crowes' songs performed with Page. The collaboration led to a more extensive tour with the band, and with The Who, in summer 2000. As part of the tour, the entourage played at the Star Lake Amphitheater, in Pittsburgh, PA, on the 28th June, for a dynamic show which was recorded for live FM Radio transmission across a number of US stations. Featuring a host of old Led Zep cuts, rubbing shoulders with several Crowes originals, all of which feature Black Crowes vocalist Chris Robinson performing a sterling job of delivering the classic numbers in question to a most appreciative audience. Previously unreleased the full broadcast is now featured on this 2 CD Set for the first time, which will, no doubt, delight fans of Jimmy Page OBE, Led Zeppelin and Black Crowes fans across the globe.
