Yeah, the line up is okay if you like seeing the same group of friends, I mean bands play the same songs at festivals in NC over and over and over. I hope it is well organized. Nice to see Roots of Creation coming down though!!
@who cares...not sure what festies you have been to but...bands dont play the same songs at NC festies...c'mon...this is going to be a great time, so what if you see the same people, those same people love the same music you do...please dont be so negative:( The Get Down is going to be a PHANTASMAGORICAL time even if the same people are there...I LOVE those people & dont mind seeing them over & over again...i think Viavant Productions has done a GREAT job so far! Kudos to the Viavant Krewe!

WOW, WHO CARES is a douche that nobody cares about. Probably a dork who's band didn't make the cut. This lineup is over the top!!! The Mantras, Afromotive and Zegg??? Im sooo there.
I'm with shane, who cares is a douche.
The Get Down is goin to be a blast. If you are tired of "seeing the same people" and the bands "playing the same song" then please stay at home and play world of warcraft or somthing
very cool!!

I got down hard at the getdown and I hope it will become an annual event. Ran into lots of old friends, met plenty of new ones and danced my ass off continuously, especially on Saturday night. NC has lots of great talent out there and luckily many of them were there this weekend. Can't wait until next year's event.
Thanks to everyone that came out and got down @ the first ever GETDOWN Music Festival & Campout! We ALL had so much FUN, that not doing it all over again next year would truly be a shame... stay tuned for even bigger and better things to come everybody!
~~~ PEACE, Love & Music ~~~
