... We've been holed up in the Wonda lab this winter, and have some tasty new treats to show you Indy folk! Peter Terry and his Prophets will be joining us, and if you aren't familiar, you should be! The jams start at 10.

Shaggy Wonda is a roots rock act that features the shredding saxophone of Teddy Jones, the passionate vocals and riffy guitar of Colby Miller, rock solid bass lines from Steve Laine, and aggressive, animalistic drums from the man known as Panama. An equal blend of emotion and technique is their signature, with an emphasis on melody. Their songs will have you dancing and singing along but offer sub...stance both lyrically and musically for the listener to delve deeper into. Their sound is a modern twist on the rock and roll of decades past and expanded by influences of blues, jazz, bluegrass, and reggae. Shaggy Wonda’s strong song writing and high energy live shows combine to create a package that has something for every music listener.

Originated in Chicago, Peter Terry & The City Profits now call Nashville, TN home where they have been quickly spreading their unique sound. With incredible musicianship from the cello and upright bass, their orchestral flare binds together flashes of folk/rock in addendum to the refreshing melodies and vintage lyrics from the soulful Peter Terry. A singer-songwriter with an idea that art can come from any direction, you just have to be prepared to embrace it.
